Joseph Cucolo, DDS

Dr. Joseph Cucolo grew up in Shirley, NY.  After receiving his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University, he moved to Hawai‘i as part of Teach for America, where he taught high school science.  While teaching, he received a Master of Education from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, and recognized his passion for working with children and their families.

After four years of teaching in Hawai‘i, Dr. Cucolo returned to New York and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the New York University College of Dentistry, graduating with honors in Special Patient Care.  After graduation he completed a general practice residency program at The Queen’s Medical Center and worked as a general dentist in private practice.  Continuing his commitment to serving children and their families, Dr. Cucolo completed his pediatric specialty training at the NYU Langone- Pediatric Dental Residency Program, where he was Chief Resident.  In his free time, you can find Dr. Cucolo on adventures with his wife, son and their four legged best fried, Kolo.
